Apologies for not posting earlier, been short staffed today however we have had a day, sadly no-one got round but worthwhile even so. Congratulations to Paul McLean who won the day with 962 points. Results are on soaring spot but I cannot access at the moment.

Tuesday
The starts are coming think and fast. There is evidence of showers down track but we managed to launch the grid without getting wet. I seems that we have tasked into the same area as Lasham who are coming north, we both seem to think that area will offer the best opportunites.

Finishing
All gliders have now finished or landed back, as the day turned out more could have been done. Results will be on soaring spot shortly

First launch took place at 1133hrs. 3kt climbs reported with a cloudbase of 3000ft

Briefing is over, in view of the high winds and forecast gusts we are scrubbed for today.

It does not look good for today, I suspect we will be watching the Monaco GP today after all. Briefing is at 1000hrs so more after then.
