I Lied

Prizegiving is over and the new Champion has received his trophy. My thanks to Mike and Joy Bean, Colion Chambers, Phil Morgan, Mike (Phil) Tait, Mike Helliwell, Sid Wright, Jim Lawn and Tony Griffiths who have all conspired to make the competition a real sucess. My thanks to all the competitors for an enjoyable week and not throwing me in the non existent Tibenham duckpond.
Thanks to Eddie and Rachel and all their staff for feeding us, supplying liquid refreshment and a tattooing service.
Finally thanks to our chairman John Roche-Kelly for presenting the prizes.

There appears a chance of a 2 hour slot when soaring may be possible so a small task has been set.
TIB-ELM-WYM-DIS-TSF (Tibenham South Finish) 103km.
The local forecast indicates CU/CB with heavy showers if we get the clearance so the chances are no more than 50/50 we will get to launch.
Good luck to Booker who have set a 136km task, they get the clearance a little earlier than us.
